We've had to uninstall pyRevit to keep our teammates working in Revit. Here's the kicker, 2018.3.3 also crashes if pyRevit is installed, even though no new service pack has been issued for months. I have numerous teammates running 4.8.5, 4.8.8 that are now crashing to the desktop after installing the latest service packs for 2019.2.5, 2020.2.7, 2021.1.6, 2022.1.2. I'm attaching the normal run journal: Īnd the journal from the crash: I can't see anything out of the ordinary in the journal. I tried removing all addin files/folders except pyRevit and it still crashes to the desktop after the splashscreen display. I just downloaded and installed: pyRevit_4.0_admin_signed and installed it.same behavior. If I uninstall pyRevit from the control panel, Revit launches fine. If the addin is enabled, Revit launches, displays the primary window, overlays the splashscreen and then disappears. If I disable the addin file, then Revit launches fine. I installed both as user and by "run as admin".
